Question 1

Can I really get a website for my shop for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ownezzy builds and sets up your shop website, admin panel and SSL security for free, with a free shopname.ownezzy.com address. Start with a free trial. To keep your store online after the trial, you pay only the storage/server charge, from ₹299 per month.

Question 2

How do I create my store?

Accepted Answer

Open a demo website that suits your business, tap "Get this website for free", enter your shop name and verify your WhatsApp number. Your store is ready in about 2 minutes, with sample products, banners and categories that you replace with your own.

Question 3

Do I need technical skills or a developer?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything is done from a simple admin panel that works on your phone. A setup checklist and a "How to" guide walk you through adding your logo, products and prices, and our team helps on WhatsApp if you get stuck.

Question 4

What can I change on my website?

Accepted Answer

Almost everything: shop name, logo, theme colour, banners, home page cards, categories, products with photos, prices and stock, featured products, offers, store policies, shipping charges and GST. Changes go live as soon as you save.

Question 5

How do customers order and pay?

Accepted Answer

Customers browse your catalogue, add products to the cart and place an order from any phone. Cash on Delivery works from day one. Online payments such as UPI (GPay, PhonePe) and cards work once a payment gateway is connected, and our team can set it up for you.

Question 6

How do I manage my orders?

Accepted Answer

Every order appears in Manage Orders in your admin panel. Update each order as it moves along (Confirmed, Packed, Shipped, Out for delivery, Delivered), edit order details, and see your customers in one place. Customers can also contact you directly with the WhatsApp button on your store.

Question 7

Can I use my own domain like shopname.com?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every store gets a free shopname.ownezzy.com address. On the Monthly or Yearly plan you can also use your own domain such as shopname.com. The domain is bought from a third-party registrar for a yearly fee, and we connect it to your store.

Question 8

What do the paid plans include?

Accepted Answer

The website, admin panel, store setup and SSL stay free on every plan. The Monthly and Yearly plans cover storage and server costs (up to 2 GB of storage) to keep your store online. Agencies and resellers can buy websites in bulk on the Franchise plan at a partner rate per website.

Question 9

I sell on Instagram and Facebook. Why do I need a website?

Accepted Answer

A website shows all your products with prices in one place, takes orders even while you sleep, and gives you one link to share in your bio, posts, reels and WhatsApp. Customers trust a real store more than a DM.
